Former Bento Box Boss Scott Greenberg Joins Othelia Technologies

Scott Greenberg, co-founder and CEO of Fox’s animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, the company behind Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis, has a new gig.

Greenberg has been named executive chairman of Othelia Technologies, a story design and management platform.

It comes as the Australian company is expanding into the U.S. with a new LA HQ run by Alexandra Hooven, who has joined the company as a Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer.

Greenberg, who left Bento Box Entertainment in April 2023, joins the company as both a strategic investor and advisor. He will oversee corporate strategy and industry partnerships.

Othelia was founded by Sydney-based CEO Kate Armstrong-Smith and Chief Technology Officer Joe Couch.

The company’s main tool is Storykeeper, which will launch in beta this fall. The tool has been used by a number of major studios and global streamers.

Othelia has secured backing from lead investor ALIAVIA Ventures, a California-based venture capital firm, and a syndicate of angel investors that includes producer Deanne Weir, former Sydney Film Festival Chair and Deputy Chair of Screen Australia, and Clarence Capital Partners.
